My fascination with fine art and the nude in particular started at school where I spent a l...view moreMy name is Lalit Rastogi and I have been a fine art photographer for almost two decades. My fascination with fine art and the nude in particular started at school where I spent a large amount of time drawing and painting life models and still life subjects in pastels, pencils, acrylics and oil paints. After leaving school I concentrated on photography and carried out professional assignments for magazines such as The Economist, businesses and within the education sector. Although the work paid well, I was left feeling empty at the end of most assignments.
I decided to give up working for other people around 2000 and since then I have concentrated on achieving the highest level of creativity through photographing subjects which inspired me i.e. the female nude and travel photography. I travelled the world in 2003 and 2004 and had a wonderful time in places such as India, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, North America and Europe. Since then, I have spent a large amount of my time each year abroad in Asia, Germany and other European countries.
I have photographed a variety of amateur and professional models over the past two decades and am constantly looking for new models to photograph.
