Sh...view moreMillie Murray – was born in London, England. A qualified nurse she has attended drama college working with several black theatre workshops and been a vocalist in a gospel choir. She created the radio series, The Airport; has written for the television series, The Real McCoy; and facilitates Creative Writing workshops throughout the UK. She is presently a Writing Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund.Millie Murray is the author of the popular Livewire novels Kiesha (1988), Lady A, A Teenaged DJ (1989), Cairo Hughes (1996) and Sorrelle (1998); as well as All About Jas, Ebony and the Mookatook Bush, Addicted (with Steve Derbyshire), Lois, Tough Talk, I, II &III.She is married with two children.view less
