Her love of writing and vivid imagination allowed her to create interesting stories. She took acting classes in school, as well, which gave her the unique opportunity to look at things from a director’s standpoint due to her level of knowledge in the class, allowing her to see how subtle changes here and there can keep an audience’s attention. She submitted the script for Finding Arianna: The Story of Nathaniel to the Golden Brads screenwriting contest and made it through to the fourth of five rounds.
She has been writing stories since she was a freshman in high school. Her writing started out with scripts, and through reading books she was able to garner several different writing styles that matched her own way of thinking and writing. This allowed her to take her scripts and turn them into books. “Writing a script is easy. Writing a book, however, not so much,” she admits. Writing has always been a passion of hers, and accomplishing the dream of publishing her work has always been the end goal.
She currently lives in Kentucky with her husband and their four children. They also have two dogs and a cat. She and her husband, along with their children, rescue stray animals and return them to their homes. All three of their own pets were rescues as well.view less
